Bag Label (Label)
This is a 50 mL single-dose container of Magnesium Sulfate heptahydrate in water for injection, intended for intravenous use only. It contains 2 g of magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, equivalent to 16.25 mEq magnesium, and has a pH adjusted by sulfuric acid and/or sodium hydroxide. The usual dosage information can be found in the insert. The solution has a calculated osmolality of 325 mOsmol/L and should not be used with supplementary medication. The container should not be used if leaks are found and must not be used in series connections. It should be stored at a temperature of 20-25°C (63-77°F) and protected from freezing.*
