This text is a warning for the potential life-threatening side effects associated with the use of Nalbuphine Hydrochloride Injection, which can lead to respiratory depression, especially when used with other opioids or central nervous system depressants such as benzodiazepines or alcohol. It is recommended to limit dosages and durations to the required minimum and monitor patients for signs and symptoms of respiratory depression and sedation. The concomitant prescribing of nalbuphine hydrochloride and benzodiazepines or other CNS depressants should be reserved for patients for whom alternative treatment options are inadequate.*

The multiple-dose fliptop vials come in cases of 25 with a concentration of either 100mg/10mL or 200mg/10mL.*

This is a description of a multiple-dose medication containing nalbuphine HCI, a drug used for pain relief. Each mL of the medication contains 20mg of nalbuphine HCI, as well as buffers, preservatives, and saline solution to adjust tonicity. The medication is sterile and nonpyrogenic, and may contain NaOH and/or HCI to adjust pH. Dosage information is found in the insert. The medication should be stored at 20 to 25°C (68 to 77°F).*
