This is a description of a 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP in a 1000 mL single-dose container. It contains 900 mg of sodium chloride in water for injection per 100 ml. The electrolytes per 1000 ml are sodium 154 mEq and chloride 154 mEq with a pH value of 5.6. It is sterile, non-pyrogenic, and must not be used in series connections. The container should not be used if damaged, and additives may be incompatible. Contains DEHP. The usual dosage is to be seen on the insert, and when introducing additives, use aseptic technique, mix thoroughly, and do not store. Consult with a pharmacist if available.*
