Naloxone Hydrochloride Injection is a medication used as an opioid antagonist. The carton contains a single 2 mL dose disposable prefilled syringe with a 21 G x 1 ½" safety needle. It should be protected from light and stored at 25°C. The medication is for IV, IM or SC use, and the dosage is specified in the insert. The single-use syringe should not be reused or sterilized. Each mL contains 1 mg of Naloxone Hydrochloride USP and 9 mg of sodium chloride. The pH is adjusted with hydrochloric acid to meet USP limits. The package comes with the tipcap in place and should not be removed until ready to use.*
