This is a description of a 500 mL injection of 0.9% Sodium Chloride intended for intravenous use, contained in a single dose container. It is sterile and sodium chloride and chloride are at 154 mEq/L. It should be used intravenously as directed by a physician. The inner bag should be inspected for leaks and the solution should not be used if it is not clear. It should be stored between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) with excursions_permitted between 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F). The container closure is not made with natural rubber latex.*
