Desommetasone (Ointment) USP 0.25% is a medication for topical use only, not for oral, ophthalmic, or intravaginal use. The package contains an ointment that is applied once daily on the affected skin. Each gram of the medication contains 2.5 mg desoximetasone in an ointment base consisting of fractionated coconut oil and ethylene.
