This is a prescription shampoo containing ciclopirox for topical use only. It is not intended for use in the eyes, mouth, or vagina. This medication should be kept out of reach of children as the package is not child-resistant. To use, apply one teaspoon to the scalp and leave on for three minutes before rinsing off. Treatment should be repeated for four weeks with a minimum of three days between applications. The package contains 10mg of ciclopirox per gram of shampoo base.
