Adapalene is a gel medication to treat acne. It contains 0.3% of Adapalene and is intended for topical use only. The active ingredient is mixed with carbomer homopolymer type C, edetate disodium, methylparaben, poloxamer 182, propylene glycol, purified water, and sodium hydroxide. It must not be used orally, intravaginally, or ophthalmically. The recommended dosage is a thin layer once a day at bedtime on affected areas.
