Each gram of Hydrocortisone cream contains 25 mg of the active ingredient, Hydrocortisone, in a base of purified water, propylene glycol, propylene glycol monostearate, mineral oil, and anionic emulsifying wax, among other ingredients. The usual dosage is to apply to the affected area up to four times a day, as directed by a physician. The cream should be stored in a controlled room temperature between 20°C to 25°C, protected from freezing. The prescription medication is only for external use and should not be used for eyes. This cream is available in tubes and packaged in cartons.*

Hydrocortisone Cream USP 1% is a medication for external use only, not for ophthalmic use. Each gram contains 10 mg of Hydrocortisone in 2 base containing purified water, propylene glycol, propylene glycol monostearate, mineral oil, and lanolin alcohols, isopropyl palmitate, polysorbate 60, cetyl alcohol, sorbic acid, polyoxy 40 stearate, sorbic acid, methylparaben, and propylparaben. The usual dosage is to apply to the affected skin area two to four times daily. It is essential to protect it from freezing, and keep the medication away from children. The product is manufactured by Taro Pharmaceuticals in the USA.*
