The text describes two products: Anti-Itch Gel and CalagelĀ® Calasine. The former is a topical analgesic antihistamine and is used for temporary relief of pain and itching associated with minor burns, cuts, insect bites, poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac. The user is cautioned against its use on puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns, or in the case of large body areas. The directions for use are given for adults and children over 2 years old. The latter is a gel that delivers rapid relief to poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac rash. The difference of this product from other anti-itch products is that it is a clear, hydrocortisone-free antihistamine gel that stays where it is put. The text also provides inactive ingredients and a 1-800 helpline number, as well as a web page for the product.*
