The active ingredients include Dextromethorphan HBr (5 mg) as a cough suppressant, Guafenesin (50 mg) as an expectorant, and Phenylephrine HCI (2.5 mg) as a nasal decongestant. This medicine helps to relieve nasal congestion caused by allergies, and cough due to throat and bronchial irritation caused by the common cold. The manufacturer advises not to exceed six doses in a 24-hour period, to measure with the dosage device provided, and not to use with any other device.
