This product is a 16 Fl. oz. Cough Suppressant-Expectorant with Nasal Decongestant that helps to loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions to drain bronchial tubes. It also temporarily relieves nasal congestion and cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation that occurs with a cold. It contains 20mg Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide as a cough suppressant, 400mg Guaifenesin as an expectorant and 10mg Phenylephrine HCI as a nasal decongestant. The product must not be used by individuals with heart, diabetes, and high blood pressure or by those taking certain prescription drugs. The recommended dose for adults and children 12 years of age and over is 5 ml (1 tsp) every 4 hours, and it should not exceed 6 doses in any 24-hour period. The product should be stored at room temperature and away from excessive heat or humidity. If cough lasts for more than 7 days, comes back, or is associated with symptoms such as fever, rash, or persistent headache, it is a sign of a severe condition, and a healthcare provider should be consulted immediately.
