This medication is a pain reliever, fever reducer, and antihistamine. It contains acetaminophen and dexbrompheniramine maleate as active ingredients. It is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains and reduce fever, as well as relieve symptoms of hay fever or other respiratory allergies, such as runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose or throat, and itchy, watery eyes. The product contains a warning that severe liver damage may occur if more than the recommended dose is taken, or if combined with other drugs containing acetaminophen, or with three or more alcoholic drinks. The medication should also not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. The label provides directions for use, including the warning not to exceed the recommended dose. It also lists inactive ingredients, describes symptoms that would require discontinuation of use and advice to seek medical attention.*
