GENUVINE FIRST AID Chewable Aspirin 81mg tablets are used for temporary relief of minor aches, pains, and headaches, and to reduce fever associated with colds, sore throats, or teething. However, this product should not be used for more than 10 days for pain unless directed by a doctor and for more than 3 days for fever unless directed by a doctor. It is meant to be chewed, and adults and children (12 years and older) can take 4 to 5 tablets every 4 hours, not exceeding 48 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. It contains Aspirin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that may cause stomach bleeding, especially if the user is older than 60 years or has had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems. This product is not suitable for people who have stomach problems (such as heartburn or stomach pain), asthma, child experiencing arthris pain, allergic to aspirin, or taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinners of the blood), diabetes or gout, and should not be administered to children under 12 years of age without consulting a doctor. Additionally, pregnant women or nursing mothers should seek medical advice before using this product, especially during the last three months of pregnancy, as aspirin may cause complications during delivery or problems in the unborn child. If an allergic reaction occurs, or if pain, fever, or new, unexpected symptoms persist, or swelling, ringing in the ears or loss of hearing occurs, discontinue use, and seek medical attention.
