This is a shampoo containing 2.3% selenium sulfide with urea and zinc pyrithione. It is used to treat seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, dandruff, and tinea versicolor. Urea hydrates dry scalp conditions. It is recommended to use twice a week for two weeks for seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff, and once a day for seven days for tinea versicolor. It should not be applied more often than necessary to maintain control. It is only for external use and should not be used for ophthalmic purposes.
