However, it contains acetaminophen, which may cause severe liver damage and other harms, particularly by consuming more than 4000 mg of acetaminophen in 24 hours or drinking alcoholic drinks daily while using the drug. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted to avoid interaction with other drugs containing acetaminophen, prescribed or otherwise, products containing diphenhydramine or used on skin, or blood-thinning drugs, sedatives, or tranquilizers. The product must not be used by children under 12 years old or those who have had an allergic reaction to it before.
