This is a description of a non-sterile antiseptic solution containing Povidone-iodine (7.6%). The solution is for external use only and should be applied topically as needed. The antiseptic is intended for single-use for patient preoperative skin preparation, but should not be used on individuals allergic or sensitive to iodine or in the eyes. The user should ask a doctor before using the antiseptic on deep or puncture wounds, serious bums, or if redness, imitation, swelling or pain persists or increases. Prolonged exposure to wet solution may cause skin irritation, and the antiseptic should be kept out of reach of children. The solution is sold in a 118mL bottle and is intended for hospital or professional use only.*
