The recommended dosage for children between 6 years and 2 years of age depends on the severity of the symptoms and ranges from 1/2 to 1 teaspoonful once daily. Do not exceed the maximum dosage of 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) in 24 hours for children over 2 years and adults. People with liver or kidney disease should ask their doctor before using the medication.
