Desoxi 15g Carton Ointment

This is a description of a medication called Desoximetasone Ointment USP, 0.25%. It is meant for topical use only and should not be used orally, ophthalmically, or intravaginally. The usual dosage is to apply a thin layer to the affected skin areas twice daily. It contains 2.5 mg of desoximetasone in an ointment base consisting of fractionated coconut oil and white petrolatum. The medication comes in a 15-gram tube and the directions for puncturing the tube seal are provided. The medication is to be stored at 20-25°C (68°- 77°F) and kept out of the reach of children.*
