Alcohol-50 (Alcohol Wintergreen 50)
This is a drug facts label for rubbing alcohol with 50% concentrate of isopropyl alcohol and wintergreen oil. It is used to decrease germs in minor cuts and scrapes and to relieve minor muscular aches due to exertion. This product is flammable and should be kept away from fire and flame. It is for external use only and may produce serious gastric disturbances if taken internally. A doctor should be consulted before use if there are deep puncture wounds or serious burns. It should not be used in eyes or mucous membranes and only in a well-ventilated area. If the condition persists or gets worse, one should stop use and ask a doctor. This product should be kept out of reach of children, and in case of accidental ingestion, contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
