This is the drug facts packaging of Isopropyl rubbing alcohol with wintergreen. The product serves as a first aid antiseptic for rubbing & massaging. The rubbing alcohol consists of 70% volume of isopropyl alcohol which helps prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes and bums. It is flammable and should be kept away from fire, flame or heat. It must be used externally only and with caution for deep punctured wounds, animal bites or serious burns. It is not recommended for use in or around the eyes, on large areas of the body, or for more than a week unless directed by a doctor. If condition persists or gets worse, stop using it. The product must be kept away from the reach of children and accidental ingestion of it must follow professional assistance or contact the Poison Control Center immediately. The effectiveness of the product increases by cleaning the affected area before applying a small amount of it 1-3 times per day, which may be covered with a sterile bandage.
