Alkums Antacid Tablets are a regular strength medicine used to relieve acid indigestion, sour stomach, and heartburn. Each tablet contains 500 mg of calcium carbonate and is naturally and artificially flavored. The active ingredient in Alkums is compared to Tums. These tablets should not be taken for more than 15 days without a physician's prescription and should not be taken with certain prescription drugs. Alkums also contains inactive ingredients such as magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and corn starch. This product is manufactured by Guardian Drug Company and should be stored below room temperature.*
