This is a comparison of the active ingredient in CFUARDIAN® Ultra Strength Antacid Tablets with Tums® Ultra Strength. CFUARDIAN® tablets contain 1000 mg of calcium carbonate as an antacid to relieve acid indigestion and heartburn. Users are advised not to exceed 7 tablets in 24 hours or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks without a doctor's advice. Each tablet provides 400 mg of elemental calcium and should be chewed when needed, or as directed by a doctor. The product contains various inactive ingredients and is not associated with GlaxoSmithKline, the manufacturer of Tums® Ultra Strength.*
