This is a medication called Children's Tussnex Multi-Symptom Cold & Fever, an over-the-counter medication which contains a mixture of acetaminophen, dextromethorphan HBr, guaifenesin, and Phenylephrine HCI. It is intended to temporarily relieve common cold and flu symptoms such as; nasal congestion, cough, minor aches, and pains, sore throat, headache, fever, and loosening of phlegm. The medication should not be given with any other drug containing acetaminophen without consulting a doctor. The medication comes in the form of a liquid suspension and should not be given to children under 6 years of age. The medication includes warnings for contraindication in certain patients and provides overdose instructions.*
