Avant Fluoride Oral Rinse is a flavored, pH neutral 2% sodium fluoride treatment rinse that is useful in the prevention of dental cavities. It comes in a 64oz bottle with a dispensing pump included. The rinse is dye-free, contains xylitol, and is gluten-free. It should be used by patients who are six years and older, and not swallowed. If accidentally swallowed, medical help should be sought immediately. The product can cause adverse reactions, and its use should be avoided in individuals with fluoride hypersensitivity. The rinse contains 2.0% sodium fluoride and is ready-to-use. The entire amount should be thoroughly rinsed between the teeth for a minute, and the patient should not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes after using.*
