Avant Fluoride Oral Rinse is a liquid containing 2% sodium fluoride. The product is used for preventing dental cavities. It comes in a plastic bottle of 64 fluid ounces which contains a dispensing pump. The product should be stored at room temperature and protected from freezing. It is advised not to swallow the product and keep it out of reach of children. The product has an active ingredient - sodium fluoride, 2.0% and inactive ingredients such as flavor, water, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, saccharin sodium, and xylitol. The product is not recommended for patients with known hypersensitivity to fluoride. In case of suspected adverse reactions, the manufacturer should be contacted. The usage of the product involves rinsing the oral cavity for a minute using the enclosed cup and to repeat the procedure to ensure maximum benefit. Patients are instructed not to eat or drink for at least 30 minutes after usage.*
