Defensolito Solution is a cough and cold medication that suppresses cough, thins bronchial secretions, and provides nasal decongestant properties. This solution can alleviate coughs due to minor throat and bronchial irritation, loosen phlegm, relieve nasal congestion, and drain bronchial tubes in children between two and six years of age who weigh over 24 pounds. However, Defensolito is not for use in toddlers under two years old and requires a doctor's consult for children with heart disease, diabetes, coughing with a lot of phlegm, thyroid disease, high blood pressure, and chronic cough. Additionally, users should adhere to its dosing information and seek emergency medical attention if their child shows signs of nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness or if cough not improving within seven days or symptoms are present with fever.*
