Upset Stomach Reliever/Antidiarrheal is a medication used to relieve diarrhea and upset stomach caused by overindulgence in food and drink or indigestion. It contains Bismuth Subsalicylate, which has a protective coating action. The medication can also be helpful for treating heartburn, nausea, and traveler's diarrhea. However, it should not be used by children or teenagers who have or are recovering from chickenpox or flu-like symptoms due to Reye's syndrome. Moreover, the users allergic to salicylates or those with fever, mucus in the stool, ulcer, or bloody or black stool should consult a doctor before use. Users should stop using the medication if the symptoms worsen or last for more than two days, or if there is ringing in the ears or loss of hearing. The medication should be stored in a cool and dry place, and out of reach of children. Only use it for two days or less. Contact a Poison Control Center or a doctor in case of accidental overdose. It contains inactive ingredients, including benzoic acid, citric acid, sorbic acid, sucralose, xanthan gum, etc. The product is available in an 8 FL OZ (240 mL) bottle.*
