Otc - Active Ingredient



Boericke and Tafel Brand Cough and Bronchial Syrup

Active Ingredients:

ANTIMONIUM SULPHURATUM AUREUM 8X

BRYONIA 3X

DROSERA ROTUNDIFOLIA, 3X

EUCALYPTUS GLOBULUS 3X

IPECACUANHA 3X

SPONGIA TOSTA 3X

ZINCUM GLUCONICUM 1X


Inactive Ingredient



Inactive Ingredients

Ethyl Alcohol (0.25%)

Fructose

Glycerin

Purified Water


Dosage And Administration



Shake well before use.
Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 mL) every 4 to 6 hours.

Do not exceed 12 teaspoons in a 24 hour period.

Children under 12 years of age:  Consult a physician.


Otc Purpose



Uses:  Temporarily relieves coughs due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold.

Helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to drain bronchial tubes.

Soothes the throat.


Indications And Usage

Warning



Sore throat warning: severe or persistent sore throat for more than 2 days or if accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea, vomiting, or rash may be serious.

Consult a doctor promptly.

Ask a doctor before use if you have persistent or chronic cough that lasts,  is chronic as occurs with smoking, asthma, emphysema or chronic bronchitis.

Cough accompanied by excessive phlegn (mucus).

Stop use and ask a doctor if new symptoms occur, symptoms worsen or do not get better within 7 days, fever worses or lasts more than 3 days, cough lasts more than 7 days or occurs with rash or persisent headache

These could be signs of a serious condition.

Overdosage Section



In case of overdose, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
