This is a description of a pain relief patch called "Zhong Hua JiuPatch." The NDC code is 53614-001-02. It is an external analgesic that provides temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints due to arthritis, sprains, bruises, and simple backache. The active ingredient is 1% Menthol. The patch is not recommended for children under 12 years. It should not be applied on wounds, irritated or damaged skin or sensitive skin. It should not be tightly bandaged or applied to wounds or damaged skin. The patch can remain effective for 12 hours and will be more effective when used 1 hour after bathing. The patch should be removed after 12 hours, and the same spot should not be patched again for at least another 12 hours. It should be stored at room temperature. The patch contains activated charcoal, angelica biserrata root, artemisia argyi leaf, boswellia sacra bark, iron, and 2,4-D sodium salt.
