DESENFRIOL D is a medication that provides temporary relief from the symptoms of the common cold, including headache, fever, nasal congestion, aching body, sneezing, runny nose, crying eyes, and sore throat. It is a combination of Chlorpheniramine, Phenylephrine, and Acetaminophen. It is a nasal decongestant and also works as a pain reliever and fever reducer. This medication is not recommended for children under three years of age, and should not be used for more than 10 days, unless otherwise directed by a physician. Individuals with breathing problems, glaucoma, or difficulty urinating should also avoid this medication without first consulting a doctor. The use of sedatives, tranquilizers, or alcohol should be avoided while taking this medication due to the risk of increased drowsiness. The recommended dosages are provided for adults, children 6 to 12 years old, and children 2 to 6 years old.*
