Oxygen is a refrigerated liquid for emergency use only, when administered by properly trained personnel for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation. It should not be used on patients who have stopped breathing unless used in conjunction with resuscitative equipment. Federal law prohibits dispensing without prescription. Uninterrupted use of high concentrations of oxygen may be harmful without monitoring its effects, and it should be used only with pressure reducing equipment and apparatus. It is produced by Air Liquefaction and should be handled with care as it is an extremely cold oxidizing liquid and gas that vigorously accelerates combustion, may explode on ignition or impact, and should be kept away from oil, grease, and combustibles. Suitable equipment should be used for its movement to avoid spills, and the cylinder temperature should not exceed 52°C (125'F). In case of frostbite, medical treatment should be obtained immediately. Other information such as warnings, prescription requirements, and the supplier's contact information is also available.*
