Anti-fungal Powder Label (Antifungal Powder)
This is a drug fact sheet for an antifungal powder with the active ingredient Tolnaftate 1%. It is used for most athlete’s foot and jock itch infections and provides relief for itching, scaling, burning, irritation, and discomfort. The drug is for external use only and should not be applied to children under two years of age, or near the eyes. If irritation occurs or symptoms persist for more than 4 weeks (athlete’s foot) or 2 weeks (jock itch), a doctor should be consulted. The product is intended for daily use to clear the infection and prevent it from recurring. Directions for use are provided, and special attention should be given to spaces between toes, wearing ventilated shoes and changing shoes and socks daily. It is not effective on scalp or nails. The product should be stored between 2°-30°C, and caution should be taken to keep it out of reach of children.*
