RI-MOX is a drug with active ingredients Aluminum Hydroxide, Magnesium Hydroxide, and Simethicone used to relieve symptoms of gas and upset stomach due to overindulgence of food and drink. It is advised to consult a doctor before using if the patient has kidney disease or is on a magnesium-restricted diet. It is also advised to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if the patient is taking a prescription drug as antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. Adults and children 12 years and older can take 2 to 4 teaspoons, four times a day or as directed by a physician, and should not take more than 16 teaspoons in 24-hours or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks. Children under 12 years should consult a physician. It has flavors, hypromellose, parabens, saccharin, sodium hypochlorite, sorbitol, water, and xanthan gum as inactive ingredients.
