The TERUFLEX® Blood Bag System with Diversion Blood Sampling Arm is a sterile and non-pyrogenic fluid path that uses anticoagulant citrate phosphate dextrose adenine solution (CPDA-1) USP for the collection of 500ml of blood. Each unit comes with a primary bag containing 70ml of solution with various ingredients including Chiric Acid USP, Sodium Citrate USP, Menobasic Sodium Phosphata USP, Dextrose USP, and Adenine USP. The system has a donor needle of size 16G X 1147 (1.60X38mm) and should only be used if the anticoagulant is clear. This product is meant for prescription use only and should be stored at room temperature between 15-30°C (59-86°F), protected from excessive heat and freezing. Unused bags can be stored at room temperature for 96 hours or for 30 days in the blister package after returning the cover film to its original position and sealing with tape to prevent possible loss of moisture.
