Prior to intravenous infusion, it is required to dilute one milliliter of epinephrine in 1000 mL of 5% Dextrose solution or 5% Dextrose and Sodium Chloride solution to produce a concentration of 1mg/mL. The recommended dosage is not specified, but it is an intravenous infusion, intramuscular, and subcutaneous solution for sterile use only. It should be stored at a temperature of 20°to 25°C (68°to 77°F) and should be protected from light and freezing.
