Salicylic Acid 6% cream is a topical dermatological medication used for skin conditions that contain 6% salicylic acid. The cream has been formulated into a specially prepared oil and water emulsion that also includes some other ingredients like cetearyl alcohol, mineral oil, glyceryl stearate SE, dimethicone 350, and others. The recommended application of the cream is to the affected area, and the area can be occluded at night. The cream should be used topically only and avoided for ophthalmic, oral, or intravaginal uses. The medication is to be stored between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).
