Salicylic Acid 6% Lotion is a pharmaceutical topical agent that contains 6% salicylic acid USP. It is formulated as an emulsion with trolamine, purified water, methylparaben, propylparaben, PEG-100 stearate, cetyl alcohol, mineral oil, glyceryl stearate SE, dimethicone 350, ammonium lactate, disodium EDTA, glycerin, cetearyl alcohol, PEG-3 distearoylamidoethylmonium methosulfate, and polysorbate 60. The lotion is designed for dermal use, with direct and occlusive application to the affected area using the provided directions.
