Tusneltussin (Tusneex)
This is a medicine for cough relief that combines two active ingredients: Dextromethorphan and Guaifenesin, each teaspoonful contains 10mg and 100mg respectively. It is indicated to temporarily relieve cough due to minor irritations in the throat and bronchial tubes, to loosen the phlegm and thin bronchial secretions to make coughing more productive. It is not recommended to use if the person is pregnant or allergic to any of the components, nor if they are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or if they don't know if their prescription drug contains that component.
