This is a medication for temporary relief of nasal congestion and cough. It helps to loosen mucus and thin bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive. A doctor should be consulted before use if the patient has any psychiatric or emotional conditions, Parkinson's disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes or if the cough occurs with asthma or is accompanied by excessive phlegm. It should not be used by children under 6 years of age. It also contains inactive ingredients such as colorants, glycerin, and sodium benzoate. In case of an overdose, medical help should be immediately sought.*
