This is a drug intended for the relief of occasional constipation. The active ingredient is Docusate Sodium in a liquid form with cherry flavor, and the dosage should not exceed the recommended dose. It is necessary to ask a doctor before use if taking mineral oil or having noticed sudden changes in bowel habits that last more than two weeks. Also, do not use the medication if abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor for over a week, and remember to keep out of reach of children. The product comes in a tight, light-resistant container with a child-resistant cap, and each 5ml teaspoon contains 5mg of sodium.*
