This is a description for Zoledronic Acid Injection, a solution for intravenous infusion administered as a single solution through a separate vented infusion line. The package contains one 100 mL single-dose bottle of sterile solution with a concentration of 5mg/100 mL (0.05 mg/mL). It is important not to mix with calcium-containing solutions. The package insert should be consulted for dosage and administration instructions. The solution contains zoledronic acid monohydrate, mannitol, USP, sodium citrate, ISR, and water for injection purposes. It is recommended that parenteral drug products be inspected visually for particulate matter and discoloration prior to administration. The solution should be stable for 24 hours at a temperature ranging from 36 to 46 degrees Celsius. The product should be refrigerated and allowed to reach room temperature before being administered. The product should be stored at a controlled room temperature between 20°C to 25°C (66°F to T) and should not be exposed to temperatures outside of this range.*
