This is a 1% Lidocaine HCI Injection, USP which is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution designed for infiltration and nerve block. It is packaged in 5 x 20 mL multiple-dose flip-top vials and contains a preservative. Each mL of the solution contains 10 mg of lidocaine hydrachioride, anhydrous, 7 mg of sodium chloride, 1 mg of methylparaben as a preservative. The solution may contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment. The usual dosage, precautions, and warnings are described in the product insert. The solution should be stored at controlled room temperature and kept out of reach of children. The package is not child-resistant and is intended for institutional use only. This unit dose package is made in Spain and distributed by Hospira, Inc. and Cardinal Health in the USA.*
