0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection is a sterile and non-pyrogenic solution that comes in 5 single-dose vials of 10 mL each. It contains sodium chloride, 9 g per mL and may include HOl and/or NaOH. The pH is adjusted. Each vial is preservative-free and must be used promptly. After injection, the user must discard any unused portion. The solution should be mixed thoroughly before use. The product insert contains vital information on prescribing, precautions, and warnings. The unit dose package is not child-resistant and reserved for institutional use only. The package must be kept out of reach of children. Store the product at 20-25°C (68-77°F) unless otherwise indicated.
