This is a medication information for Diphenhydramine HCI, an antihistamine drug for temporary relief of hay fever, upper respiratory allergies, sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose or throat, and itchy or watery eyes. Each capsule contains 50mg of Diphenhydiamine Hydrochloride as active ingredient and inactive ingredients as DSC red #28, FDC blue #1, FDC red #40, gelatine, and starch. The recommended dosage is to take one capsule every 4 to 6 hours but not exceeding 6 capsules per day. It's not recommended for children under age 12 years and those with certain medical conditions to use it without consulting with a doctor or pharmacist. It may cause drowsiness and alcohol or certain medications should not be taken with it. It should be stored at a temperature between 20°-25°C. It is manufactured by Major Pharmaceuticals.
