Furosemide Injection, USP is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution available in 5 x 2 mL single-use vials. Each 2 mL vial contains 20 mg furosemide (10 mg/mL) and sodium chloride sufficient to render the solution isotonic. The solution is for intravenous or intramuscular use only. It is recommended to use aseptic technique when administering. The product insert should be consulted for prescribing information, precautions and warnings. The solution should be stored at 20 to 25°C and protected from light. Unused portions of the solution should be discarded, and the package is not intended for use in children. The product is distributed by Hospira, Inc., made in Israel, and distributed by Cardinal Health in Dublin, OH.*
