SOLU-CORTEF® 100 mg is a hydrocortisone sodium succinate injection that comes in a single-dose vial for intramuscular or intravenous use for adult dose starting at 100 mg. It is usual to repeat this dose as necessary. The product is lyophilized and contains hydrocortisone sodium succinate equivalent to 100 mg of hydrocortisone. The product insert contains prescribing information, precautions and warnings. The solution must be clear, and if it's not, it should not be used. The storage temperature should be between 20° to 25° C, and it should be protected from light. The product should be discarded three days after opening. This product is not child-resistant and intended only for institutional use.*
