Lovenoxe 40 mg/0.4 mL is a medication supplied in a box containing five pre-filled syringes for subcutaneous injection. Each syringe has an automatic safety device to minimize the risk of injury as well as reduce the risk of bacterial contamination. The syringe contains 40mg of enoxaparin sodium injection derived from porcine intestinal mucosa in water for injection. The medication should be stored at temperatures between 15-30°C. The package is not child-resistant and should be kept out of reach of children. The product insert provides more information on dosage and administration. Directions for use of the syringe are also included. The safety system should only be activated after removing the needle from the patient's skin to avoid injury.*
