Prochlorperazine Edisylate Injection, USP is a medication available in a 10mg/2mL strength, offered in 5 x 2mL multiple-dose vials for deep IM or IV use only, not for subcutaneous use. Each mL contains Prochlorperazine, USP 5g as the Edisylate, along with other ingredients. Please refer to the product insert for prescribing information for children and adults, precautions, and warnings as it should not be used in pediatric surgery. This medication should be stored at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F); excursions permitted between 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F). Keep covered until time of use and discard contents if marked discolored. Also, the unit dose package is not child-resistant and intended for institutional use only, so it should be kept out of the reach of children. This medication is manufactured by Emcure Phamaceuticals Ltd, Ahmedabad, India, and is distributed by Cardinal Health, Dublin, OH.*
