This is a description of Digoxin Injection, USP 500 mcg/2mL used for slow intravenous or deep intramuscular use. Dilution is not required. Each mL contains digoxin 250mcg, alcohel 0.1mL, propylene glycol 0.4mL, dibasic sodium phosphate anhydrous 3mg, and itric acid anhydrous 0.8g in Water for Injection. The usual dosage is specified in the product insert. It needs to be stored at 20C-25C (68-77F). The package is not child-resistant and is intended for institutional use only. The manufacturer is HIKMA FARMACEUTICA (PORTUGAL), S.A and distributed by Cardinal Health.*
